Two insulated 18 AWG conductors in one PVC jacket. Each conductor is 26 strands of 0.160 mm of tinned copper, which bends easily and resists the green corrosion bare copper gets in damp places.
We rate it for 300 V and an operating range of 14°F to 176°F. At home that covers low-voltage work: LED strips, landscape lights, speakers, 12 V and 24 V runs in a car, a camper or a boat.
Each spool comes with a few extras for the job: heat shrink, lever connectors and cable ties. Longer spools cost less per foot, and the table works that out for you.
What it will not do
It is not house wiring for outlets or circuits inside walls, which needs cable made for that code.
The jacket is not rated for high heat next to an engine block.
