AWG and mm² are two ways to name the same wire. American wire is sold by AWG, and most DIN-rail terminal blocks are marked in mm², so the chart gives both.

Collar color does not mean anything electrical in our range. Each gauge comes in several colors so you can pick one scheme and keep to it. If your panel follows a color standard, check it against this list first.
