Battery and DC work has two sides, and this tubing marks them. Each size comes in black and red with a glue lining that seals as it shrinks.
The 8 ft sets suit one job. The 82 ft rolls are for a shop or a boat that is being rewired end to end, and they cost much less per foot.
The size is the diameter before shrinking. At 3:1 the tube closes down to a third of it.
What it will not do
Once shrunk it does not come off in one piece. Cut it away to redo a joint.
The 82 ft rolls are one color per roll, not both.

This is truly a good product. I used it to repair a severed and nicked up outdoor extension cord that was run over by a tractor lawnmower. I used the 3/4 inch diameter. The material is plenty thick for protection and the glue slightly oozes out when finished. I would definitely buy this again.

Good value and included case keep the tubing sizes together. The tubing range should cover a wide range of conductors/cables. Used the 3/32” size to cover but jointed 22GA wire and the 3/16” to cover the group of conductors. The con is that the 8 different sizes are divided into 4 sections which requires some hunting of the different tubing sizes.
