A saddle mount is screwed down rather than stuck, so it holds where adhesive fails: wood studs, dusty engine bays, rough plywood. Thread a zip tie through the saddle and cinch the cable to it.
Each pack has 100 bases and 100 tapping screws. The 0.6 in pack also has 100 8 in zip ties; the 0.9 in pack is the heavier base.
What it will not do
It needs a screw, so it will not go on glass or tile.

Are the screws on the cheaper side? Yes. But, the people complaining about the screws stripping simply MUST have been doing something wrong. Perhaps they used the wrong bit size or too much torque? I installed about 30 of these to attic rafters, as well as to the back of a desk, which apparently has very hard, dense wood.

I used this to place a 3/8" rope light on the back side of the eves surrounding my house in order to provide an indirect lighting effect. Mounts were place at about 1 ft. increments around a 200 foot perimeter. It should be versatile for use on somewhat larger and smaller diameter objects and work well since the cable tie would conform to the size.
